The pet grill was exactly what I needed for my screen door. My cats can enjoy looking outside and breathing the fresh air without damaging the screen. The sturdiness of the grill and clearance space from the screen is perfect !! You will however, have to remove to install the glass in the fall.

Easy to install screen protection

Very happy with this screen protector for our patio door. It was hard to find one large enough for this oversized door, but this one fits perfectly and works great to keep our toddler from breaking the screen. Aesthetically it looks very nice too, the bronze color looks nice with our brown door frame. I would recommendation.
